This is a great verbalization of what I know to be true. I’m not as articulate but I will try to address a couple of issues he didn’t.

We have brought this loss of liberty on ourselves by selling our votes to the highest bidder each of whom is using our money to buy our vote. We have allowed ourselves to be sold on the idea that if the government does it for us it doesn’t cost us anything.

We now have more people working for government than in industry. So how are we going to get budget cutting initiatives voted in?

Why can’t we see that government run programs are not efficient? When my folks were alive had my sister(a widow with 2 children)and I given them what the government was withholding in FICA taxes from our wages they would have been money ahead, and that is not counting what the employees had to contribute.

I’m tired of beauracrats telling me I can’t be proud of or patriotic to my beloved country. And they are doing it with my(please identify yourself with the word “my”) money. As an example. A friend of ours owned some apartment buildings that he had rec’d university approval to rent to attending university students. Government officials met with apartment owners and university officials telling them that all apartment buildings would have to become unisex (there were only two at that time). University official pointed out that there was no law to that effect. Their response was that they would see that all government grants would be withdrawn from the university if they did not comply with their demands.

I don’t feel we will ever make any progress in heading off government takeover until we put term limits on Congress just like we have on the president and replace the income tax with a sales tax. We don’t need professional politicians! They keep taking our liberties from us with our money in order to maintain their positions of power. A sales tax would make sure that the rich would pay more taxes than the poor and we would eliminate 1200 lbs of legalize, regulations and exceptions.

Wowsers!! I totally agree with everything he said and have thought this for years (since around 1960 when I became informed about the threat to our nation from the so-called “liberals” (they even used corrupted semantics to change the original meaning of this word!!). Did you read the forward I sent about who tried to destroy Mike Lee by reverse psychology? I really like DeMinth and have followed this newletter for several years–he has consistently picked the best constitutional candidates across the board and has an effective plan to consolidate support and elect them. The silent majority were silent again. That includes his opponents. Not one of them ever really challenged him on the issues. Many were scared to vote against him because they thought it might not be “politically correct” if they didn’t. He is a very smooth speaker, with no one having courage enough to point out what he really is or what his position on so many political and moral issues is he is able to slide his way in. Now we must all join together and get the word out to all before Nov.
